Chaos

From Balance to Chaos.  Oh how quickly the pendulum swings.

I have decided to undertake a new project.  Because, really, I so don’t have enough to do with my time.  Ha!  I’ve convinced/dragged Kevin into redoing our bonus room.  This room is a true jack of all spades.  It’s the craft room, the computer room, the play room and the guest room.  That’s a lot of hats for one space to wear so most of the time, it’s a disheveled mess.  It gets hard use from every person in this house.  Up to know, it’s been cobbled together.  My old computer desk from high school + the craft table from the basement from 69th + a broken trundle bed + a ton of kid toys.  It ain’t a pretty sight even on it’s best day.  So the great over haul.

First, I tackled my craft space.  Here’s the before shot.

I’m tired of open shelves and clutter so I’m opting for a wardrobe cabinet from IKEA and hoping to hide all the chaos behind clean, closed doors.  So far, so good.  The table is an old odd piece that Kevin will someday replace (right Kev?) but for now it fits.  I also moved to the opposite corner of the room to snag a window and some nice natural light.  Very exciting.

That’s Leina being her normal odd self.  I have no idea what she is doing but she wanted me to take of picture of her so here it is.

Kulia is much more interested in “helping” me.  There is nothing quite as frustrating as a 3 year old trying to help you install IKEA cabinets so I gave her the tape measure and set her to work.  She takes her task very very seriously.

This is my jedi knight pictures of Kulia.  May the force be with her.
