Had my weekly doctor visit and the news is still the same. No change and no sight of baby any time soon. Sigh. Her birthdate was suppose to be this Sunday but that’s looking like a pipe dream right now. Of course, she could decided to jump into action and surprise us all but I doubt it. So, I’ve realigned my expectations. Now, hoping she’ll be born before September 1st. I figure, this way, I can’t lose. Right? RIGHT?!?!

One good thing to come from her dawdling is that we got to see a test version of the new Russel Crowe movie Master and Commander: Far Side of the World. Now, Kevin loved this series of books but I just couldn’t get into it. But, since the movie had Russel, I figured I’d give it a try. And let me tell you, it was awesome! It had the best sea battle scenes I’ve ever seen. It also cured any desire I ever had to be a sailor. This is a movie you must see in the big screen to fully appreciate. I’m sure Kevin has much deeper insights but I liked the action and (no surprise) Russel. Sigh.
