We’ve been living large here. Missing Kevin but having fun all the same. The big news, of course, was the loss of another tooth for Leina. She now sports an adorable gapped grin that makes my heart ache every time I see it. She, however, is very proud of her new smile.

Gone Baby Gone
To celebrate, we broke out the Oreos. And no one, I mean no one, can eat an Oreo like my girl Kulia. She can work it!

How to Eat an Oreo With Style
And, of course, we are still loving our crazy dog. She is doing ok on her new walk schedule. I know she misses her long outings with Kevin but hey, we’ve all got to suffer here! I know, it doesn’t look like suffering but trust me. It is.

Doggie Lovin'
And finally, there is a lot of Pokemon happening in our house. Pokemon. Pokemon. Pokemon. Not the card game but the TV show. Something about it has captured the girls’ imagination and they are on fire. My favorite so far has been the Pikachu outfit Leina created for herself during quiet time. Jada about lost her mind when Leina started crawling around the room in this get up. For some reason, the headband/ears bothered her to no end. I found it hilarious. Gotta love a kid’s imagination power.

Pika-Pika?
Tonight we are having a sleepover. The girls set up the futon in Leina’s room and Kulia has hauled all her stuffed animals and blankets in there to make herself a little nest on the floor. I have tucked them in but I don’t know if they will get any sleep or not. I figure tomorrow is Sat so why not let them have some fun? I have left a plate of donuts on the table downstairs in the hopes that they will help themselves tomorrow morning and let me get a little extra sleep. This solo parent thing is exhausting! But I gotta say, it sure is fun!

adorable!!! stitch cannot wait to meet them – would you be up for a cookout (dang this darn oregon rain) this weekend? New Seasons has the BEST corn and Josh is ready to fire up the grill!!!
