Located in scenic Sherwood, south of Portland about 12 miles. Sherwood is one the fastest growing cities in Oregon, but the city council is dedicated to managing the growth wisely. At just over 14,000 people it has a very small-town feel with quick access to the Portland Metro area. Best of all it's only 10 minutes from my new job!

Our new house is located in the first development of Wyndam Ridge in the very southwest corner of Sherwood. This development was started in 1998 which is when our house was built. We're excited because of all the extra room we're going to get, the lush spacious backyard, and for the garage! The house is on a cul de sac which has a round green patch maintained by the development association. It's 2 stories with 3 bedrooms, a large bonus room over the garage, 2.5 baths, a laundry room, air conditioning, gas heat with a fireplace on a pie-shaped lot with a morning view of Mt. Hood.

The backyard is massive! The whole property has a full 8 ft. fence, and you can see the half fence enclosing the SE corner of the backyard in the picture above. Chrissie is going to have a lot of yard work cut out for her this summer. Of course, Leina Jane's first birthday will be a family barbecue!
