{"id":962,"date":"2008-06-11T08:59:52","date_gmt":"2008-06-11T15:59:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chrissierocks.org\/?p=962"},"modified":"2009-07-14T14:44:28","modified_gmt":"2009-07-14T21:44:28","slug":"a-little-something","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chrissierocks.org\/?p=962","title":{"rendered":"A Little Something"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Here&#8217;s a picture of the little purse I made Kat for her birthday.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/pictures\/katpurseout.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Actually, this is the second purse I made for Kat.\u00a0 The first, I used this gorgeous, thick, woven fabric that unravelled before my eyes as I tried to sew it.\u00a0 After much cursing and crying, I stuffed it into the trash bin and decided to start over with a good old quilting fabric and it went together easy-peasy.\u00a0 You could also make it reversible but I&#8217;m a big fan of pockets so I nixed that option.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/pictures\/katpursein.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Since I have the pattern out still, I think I&#8217;ll make one of these for myself.\u00a0 I might make the pockets a bit larger though.\u00a0 I hate digging around the bottom of my bag.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I love having a place for everything.\u00a0 The different length straps are the snazziest part.\u00a0 Just loop together and go.\u00a0 Totally my speed!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/pictures\/katpurse.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Oh yeah, and last night, it got down to 46 degees here.\u00a0 I think we&#8217;ve been totally stood up by spring.\u00a0 The bum!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here&#8217;s a picture of the little purse I made Kat for her birthday.
