{"id":1594,"date":"2011-01-18T14:23:26","date_gmt":"2011-01-18T21:23:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chrissierocks.org\/?p=1594"},"modified":"2011-01-19T10:33:07","modified_gmt":"2011-01-19T17:33:07","slug":"notes-to-savor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chrissierocks.org\/?p=1594","title":{"rendered":"Notes to Savor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Here are two prime examples of Leina&#8217;s writing. \u00a0I rummaged through her room and pulled these out from under her bed. \u00a0Everything ends up under her bed. \u00a0It is the black hole of our house. \u00a0But I thought these two\u00a0missives best represent Leina.<\/p>\n<p>First, there is sweet and helpful Leina:<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 610px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Note @\" src=\"\/2011\/note2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">A Workbook for Kulia <\/p><\/div>\n<p>I love the &#8220;in a jify&#8221;. \u00a0That just cracks me up. \u00a0Clearly, the child has seen her fair share of infomercials.<\/p>\n<p>The second letter I often receive is not so sweet. \u00a0I think of them as letters from a broken heart. \u00a0 Whenever Leina is wronged, she takes up her pen\/pencil\/crayon\/marker, and lets the world know of her pain. \u00a0I believe this letter was created after we insisted that she go to sleep. \u00a0By herself. \u00a0In her room. \u00a0I know, we are horrible, horrible parents.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 610px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Note 2\" src=\"\/2011\/note1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">A Little Bit of Emotional Blackmail <\/p><\/div>\n<p>The P.S. just slays me. \u00a0It&#8217;s written in ascending order. \u00a0Hence the strange numbering system. \u00a0But it did work. \u00a0After finding this note on my bed, I headed to her room only to find her fast asleep. \u00a0So, I scribbled a note of my own and left it for her.<\/p>\n<p>I love finding all her thoughts and ideas and feelings lying about on bits of paper. \u00a0I hope this writing stage goes on for a long, long time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here are two prime examples of Leina&#8217;s writing. \u00a0I rummaged through her room and pulled these out from under her bed. \u00a0Everything ends up under her bed. \u00a0It is the black hole of our house. \u00a0But I thought these two\u00a0missives best represent Leina.
