{"id":1573,"date":"2010-11-04T09:14:18","date_gmt":"2010-11-04T16:14:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chrissierocks.org\/?p=1573"},"modified":"2010-11-09T13:11:50","modified_gmt":"2010-11-09T20:11:50","slug":"you-thought-i-forgot-didnt-you","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chrissierocks.org\/?p=1573","title":{"rendered":"You Thought I Forgot, Didn\u2019t You?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ah, my poor neglected blog. \u00a0I really do need to get back on the saddle here but time just seems to slip away. \u00a0Here it is November and I still haven&#8217;t posted our pumpkin pictures yet! \u00a0Thankfully I am a strong believer in the &#8220;better late than never&#8221; mind set. \u00a0So here we go!<\/p>\n<p>Here we are our first year, 2005, when Leina was only a 2 years old.  Kulia was lugged around in the backpack and didn&#8217;t make it into the shot.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"..\/..\/pictures\/leina05.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In 2006, Kulia joined in the fun.  She was a wee thing but totally game.  Can you believe how much Leina grew in just one year?!?!?<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"..\/..\/pictures\/girls06.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In the 2007 entry to our montage, it&#8217;s Kulia&#8217;s turn to amaze me with her growth spurt.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"..\/..\/pictures\/girls07.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>2008 arrived and suddenly, Leina looks like a little girl. \u00a0And, of course, Patches snuck into the photo.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"vertical-align: middle;\" src=\"\/pictures\/pumpkin08.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"336\" height=\"448\" \/><\/p>\n<p>2009 showed more growth despite my commands to stay little.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 410px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/pictures\/2009\/kuliatalll09.jpg\" alt=\"Kulia 2009\" width=\"400\" height=\"752\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Kulia 2009<\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"width: 446px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/pictures\/2009\/leinatall09.jpg\" alt=\"Leina 2009\" width=\"436\" height=\"802\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Leina 2009<\/p><\/div>\n<p>And now, I present, my Big Girls. \u00a0Yes, your eyes do not deceive you, Leina has almost hit the 4 ft mark. \u00a0Kulia has blown past 3 ft. \u00a0Sigh.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 610px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Sisters 2010\" src=\"\/2010\/pumpkins2010.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Sisters 2010<\/p><\/div>\n<p>We got the farm animal shot. \u00a0Kulia is currently in love with pigs so of course, that was her go-to animal this year.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 610px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Kulia the Pig\" src=\"\/2010\/pig2010.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Kulia the Pig<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Both kids wanted to pumpkin bowl. \u00a0No strikes but lots of smiles so it was two dollars well spent.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 610px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Pumpkin Bowling\" src=\"\/2010\/bowling2010.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Pumpkin Bowling<\/p><\/div>\n<p>And, of course, we finished the day with a big bag of kettle popcorn spiked with a handful of candy corn. \u00a0The bag was consumed on the premises. \u00a0The candy corn went fast.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 610px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Sweet Kulia\" src=\"\/2010\/candycorn2010.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Candy Corn Girl<\/p><\/div>\n<p>It was a lot of fun. \u00a0Perfect weather, silly fun, and another year to marvel at how much they have grown!<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 610px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Blue Eyes\" src=\"\/2010\/withdad2010.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo Evidence of Where Leina Got Her Eyes From<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ah, my poor neglected blog. \u00a0I really do need to get back on the saddle here but time just seems to slip away. \u00a0Here it is November and I still haven&#8217;t posted our pumpkin pictures yet! \u00a0Thankfully I am a strong believer in the &#8220;better late than never&#8221; mind set. \u00a0So here we go!
