{"id":1546,"date":"2010-05-28T20:10:44","date_gmt":"2010-05-29T03:10:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chrissierocks.org\/?p=1546"},"modified":"2010-06-16T09:43:16","modified_gmt":"2010-06-16T16:43:16","slug":"latest-happenings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chrissierocks.org\/?p=1546","title":{"rendered":"Latest Happenings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ve been living large here. \u00a0Missing Kevin but having fun all the same. \u00a0The big news, of course, was the loss of another tooth for Leina. \u00a0She now sports an adorable gapped grin that makes my heart ache every time I see it. \u00a0She, however, is very proud of her new smile.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/2010\/gonebaby.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"400\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Gone Baby Gone<\/p><\/div>\n<p>To celebrate, we broke out the Oreos. \u00a0And no one, I mean no one, can eat an Oreo like my girl Kulia. \u00a0She can work it!<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/2010\/oreo.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"400\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">How to Eat an Oreo With Style<\/p><\/div>\n<p>And, of course, we are still loving our crazy dog. \u00a0She is doing ok on her new walk schedule. \u00a0I know she misses her long outings with Kevin but hey, we&#8217;ve all got to suffer here! \u00a0I know, it doesn&#8217;t look like suffering but trust me. \u00a0It is.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/2010\/jadalove.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"400\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Doggie Lovin&#39;<\/p><\/div>\n<p>And finally, there is a lot of Pokemon happening in our house. \u00a0Pokemon. \u00a0Pokemon. \u00a0 Pokemon. \u00a0Not the card game but the TV show. \u00a0Something about it has captured the girls&#8217; imagination and they are on fire. \u00a0My favorite so far has been the Pikachu outfit Leina created for herself during quiet time. \u00a0Jada about lost her mind when Leina started crawling around the room in this get up. \u00a0For some reason, the headband\/ears bothered her to no end. \u00a0I found it hilarious. \u00a0Gotta love a kid&#8217;s imagination power.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/2010\/pikachu.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"400\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Pika-Pika?<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Tonight we are having a sleepover. \u00a0The girls set up the futon in Leina&#8217;s room and Kulia has hauled all her stuffed animals and blankets in there to make herself a little nest on the floor. \u00a0I have tucked them in but I don&#8217;t know if they will get any sleep or not. \u00a0I figure tomorrow is Sat so why not let them have some fun? \u00a0I have left a plate of donuts on the table downstairs in the hopes that they will help themselves tomorrow morning and let me get a little extra sleep. \u00a0This solo parent thing is exhausting! \u00a0But I gotta say, it sure is fun!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ve been living large here. \u00a0Missing Kevin but having fun all the same. \u00a0The big news, of course, was the loss of another tooth for Leina. \u00a0She now sports an adorable gapped grin that makes my heart ache every time I see it. \u00a0She, however, is very proud of her new smile.
