My friend, Laura, sent me this joke. Finally, a lawyer joke that doesn’t involve snakes, sharkes or killing lawyers……<\/p>\n
Two physicians boarded a flight out of Seattle. One sat in the
\nwindow seat, the other sat in the middle seat. Just before
\ntakeoff, an attorney got on and took the aisle seat next to the
\ntwo physicians. They introduced themselves and settled
\nback for the flight.<\/p>\n
The attorney kicked off his shoes, wiggled his toes and was
\nsettling in when the physician in the window seat said,” I think
\nI’ll get up and get a coke.”<\/p>\n
“No problem,” said the attorney, “I’ll get it for you.”<\/p>\n
While he was gone, one of the physicians picked up the attorney’s
\nshoe and spat in it.<\/p>\n
When he returned with the coke, the other physician said, “That
\nlooks good, I think I’ll have one too.”<\/p>\n
Again, the attorney obligingly went to fetch it and while he was
\ngone, the other physician picked up the other shoe and spat in
\nit. The attorney returned and they all sat back and enjoyed the
\nflight. As the plane was landing, the attorney slipped his feet
\ninto his shoes and knew immediately what had happened.<\/p>\n
“How long must this go on?” he asked. “This fighting between our
\nprofessions? This hatred? This animosity? This spitting in
